The artist
Velcro Stories is the instrumental electronic project of Saskatoon-based Woodland Cree artist and producer Nigel Bell, who also records as Nige B. The project provides a distinct outlet for Bell's beat-making, textural production and wordless composition. Its catalog includes the EPs Chroma and SOLO and the single Side Quest. Velcro Stories was nominated for Electronic Artist of the Year at the 2025 Saskatchewan Music Awards, following an Instrumentalist of the Year win at the 2023 Saskatchewan Indigenous Music Awards. MusicList uses a rights-clean monogram rather than unlicensed photography.
