The artist
Zayd is a Regina vocalist, songwriter and rock artist whose music channels personal struggle into messages about mental health, self-care and resilience. After developing his craft as a guitarist and songwriter, he launched his solo work in 2020 with Father and continued with releases including Silent Story and Deceit and Desecrate. His work has received repeated Saskatchewan music-award recognition, including a 2025 Metal or Hard Rock Artist of the Year nomination.
