CiTR 101.9 FM, call sign CITR-FM, is the University of British Columbia’s Vancouver campus and community radio station, operated by the Student Radio Society of UBC. The CRTC renewed its campus-radio licence through August 31, 2030. CiTR’s current About page says that students and community members create more than 100 locally focused programs in multiple languages, streamed online and made available as podcasts, while its mandate emphasizes alternative local programming, media access and underrepresented voices. The live first-party schedule for July 26 through August 1, 2026 lists 72 broadcast slots spanning experimental and electronic music, hip-hop and R&B, reggae and soca, classical, Latin music, folk and roots, metal, local music, news, Indigenous affairs, arts and community talk. It also carries a current weekly bilingual English-and-French music, artist-interview and concert-review program. CiTR’s official music-submission page directly designates its Music Department role inbox for digital submissions, accepts MP3 and WAV files, vinyl and tapes, asks where the artist is based and whether the artist is signed, and does not state a fee or promise airplay. The page no longer accepts CDs. MusicList republishes only the designated organization role inbox and links to the official page for physical-mail instructions; the named contact, street address, staff directory, phone details and all unrelated inboxes remain excluded.
