Recorded in Montreal with co-producer Benoît Morier, Chiac Disco marks a vibrant sonic transformation for Lisa LeBlanc, merging upbeat 1970s funk and disco grooves with Acadian Chiac humor and rock swagger. The album earned a place on the 2022 Polaris Music Prize Short List, multiple JUNO Award nominations, and took home ADISQ Félix awards for Pop Album of the Year and Record Production of the Year.
