About
The artist
Lisa LeBlanc is an Acadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Rosaireville, New Brunswick, now based in Montreal. Her work moves between French, English, and Chiac while combining roots music, rock, country, funk, disco, and the banjo-led folk-trash approach associated with her early career. She won the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in 2010 and released her self-titled debut through Bonsound in March 2012. Spotify exposes nine distinct principal album and single containers available in Canada from March 2012 through June 2026: four albums and five provider-classified singles. The catalog includes the English-language EP Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted, the 2017 Polaris-shortlisted Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen?, Chiac Disco, and Live avec l'Orchestre symphonique de Québec. Chiac Disco was shortlisted for the 2022 Polaris Music Prize, nominated at the JUNO Awards, and won the 2022 ADISQ Félix awards for Pop Album of the Year and Record Production of the Year. LeBlanc's studio work extends beyond her own catalog. Her current Bonsound biography credits her with producing Édith Butler's Le tour du Grand Bois, co-producing Jacques Surette's first two records, and co-producing Chiac Disco with Benoît Morier. Bonsound's June 2026 release materials document her active return with Whole Lotta Talkin', an English-language rock single built around surf guitar and a 1960s-style organ, after more than 140 shows supporting Chiac Disco and the 2024 orchestral live album. Current Bonsound pages list management, label, Canadian booking, press, and publishing relationships. Professional inquiries are routed through the official Bonsound artist page without republishing direct email addresses. The exact bilingual payload was reviewed for current Montreal geography, Acadian origin, catalog counts, awards, production credits, contact safety, and media treatment. Spotify media is rendered live with provider attribution and a monogram fallback.
