The artist

Lisa LeBlanc is an Acadian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Rosaireville, New Brunswick, now based in Montreal. Her work moves between French, English, and Chiac while combining roots music, rock, country, funk, disco, and the banjo-led folk-trash approach associated with her early career. She won the Festival international de la chanson de Granby in 2010 and released her self-titled debut through Bonsound in March 2012.
