Album-Level Production & Liner Credits
The Story of the Release
Conceived as an emotional autobiography, Inuktitut sees Inuk singer-songwriter Elisapie translate and reframe 10 classic rock and pop songs that soundtracked her childhood in Salluit, Nunavik. Produced alongside Joe Grass in Montreal, each song is an intimate tribute to a departed family member or community trauma, transforming familiar melodies from Metallica, Blondie, and Fleetwood Mac into profound vessels of collective healing and language resurgence.
Canadian Press & Critical Reception
