Leeroy Stagger is a Canadian singer-songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and radio host based in Victoria, British Columbia. Raised in rural British Columbia, he began releasing music under the Leeroy Stagger name in 2002 and developed a catalog grounded in folk, roots rock, alternative country, and Americana. His writing often considers recovery, family, community, social strain, and the landscapes of Western Canada. After fifteen years in Lethbridge, Alberta, Stagger returned to the Victoria area and established Neighbourhood Recorders, where he continues to make his own records and produce other artists. His thirteenth full recording, 3 AM Revelations, was recorded at the Victoria studio and released in 2024. Stagger produced the album and worked with contributors including Ryland Moranz, Jay Malinowski, Dennis Ellsworth, and Suzie Ungerleider. In May 2026, Cordova Bay Records released Pilgrimage, a nine-track album co-produced with Joel Plaskett and recorded with an intentionally raw analog approach. The album explores ancestry, migration, colonial history, community, and Stagger's connections to Highland bardic traditions. His current work also includes hosting Dirty Windshields Radio Hour each Saturday on CKUA. Stagger won the Alberta Peak Performance Project in 2015 and was named Solo Artist of the Year at the 2017 Canadian Folk Music Awards.
