UNFIT Music

UNFIT Music is an artist management, booking agency, and presenter company based in Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 2019 by bassist, producer, and Battle of Santiago founder Michael Owen, UNFIT Music challenges traditional definitions of world music by presenting and developing eclectic artists creating music at the intersection of cultures and contemporary styles. The company provides management representation, tour booking, concert presentation, and release strategy for a select roster of boundary-pushing Canadian and international artists, including Juno-nominated Afro-Cuban post-rock group Battle of Santiago, Peruvian-Canadian vocalist and pianist Irene Torres, and Juno Award-winning calypso ensemble Kobo Town. MusicList verifies UNFIT Music as an active Canadian music management company and booking presenter based on official company documentation, public roster confirmation, and credited releases.
